Being the shy and quiet Director of Operations that I am I really feel uncomfortable talking about myself... alright stop laughing, I will give it a go! After many years with Mitchells & Butlers I joined TGI Fridays in May 2008.
I have a six year old son, Oliver, and we became our very own little family just over a year ago, and I will openly admit he has enhanced my life beyond recognition...5.30am starts, chocolate all over my cream sofa, scooter marks on the wooden floors!! Just kidding, he is a gorgeous, cheeky, mischievous, happy, courageous boy and my little ray of sunshine. My favourite hobby is wine tasting, any red will do, I am not fussy, but if you are buying a Pinot Noir, make it a large, please! I adore lovely holidays and travelling, in my youth (far too long ago), I spent 2 years travelling around the world visiting over 30 countries and experiencing some fabulous cultures, that time I believe has shaped me to the person that I am today.
I completely adore working with Fridays, my colleagues and my team, I am very fortunate to work in a Brand that truly cares about each person, as I believe support and trust is the foundation of every strong relationship. Influencing our employees development and knowing that we positively enhanced their career or personal happiness is what truly drives me to go to work every-day. I thrive on challenge, and really enjoy celebrating and recognising the great successes that we continue to have in Fridays. Lastly I try and enjoy anything I do, I like to have a laugh and try and see a joke in everything, I am convinced that I am an extremely funny person... but alas I am on my own with those beliefs!!!!
